Almost There

I'm currently working on my final project assignment for my location II class. I've had this idea marinating most of the quarter. In the past I have focused on female beauty products and female models for my class assignments and portfolio work. A good friend suggested that I try switching things up and work on male products, which began my creative gears turning. 

I had some challenges finding a male model with their own suits. I posted on a few social media pages and groups to see if anyone would be interested, and luckily an old friend of mine reached out and volunteered. 

I scouted out this location with an idea of a city scape as the background in mind, which is not exactly what was achieved in this photo. I was grateful that the day was cloudy and offered diffused lighting. The lighting setup was pretty simple; I had a soft box in front of the model and a hair light off to the side and behind the model. 

The product presented its own challenges in the fact that I don't have my own studio, so I ended up turning my guest room into one. I'm limited on props and equipment but overall, I'm really happy with the way this photo is turning out.
